Japan

Hi Everyone-
I woke up to news this morning that there was a huge (8.9) earthquake off the coast of Japan. I have been able to contact my Dad and he let me know that he and Hisami are fine. Hisami is stuck in Tokyo because the trains aren't running, but she was able to get a hotel room and should be able to make her way back to Yokohama here in the next little while. Let's keep those who were affected by this horrible disaster in our thoughts and prayers. Love to all of you!

Nicknames

Recently on Laurel's facebook page there has been a conversation of nicknames that Aunt Maureen has given everyone in the family. Aunt Debbie wondered why Aunt Maureen has never been given a nickname. I think it's high time she gets her official nickname so we are having a nickname contest. Here are the rules: 1. Submit your entry to my email deanngoldsworthy@hotmail.com. 2. Be as creative as she has been. 3. Have your entry in by March 31st. That's it! I will email everyone but Aunt Maureen the list of potential nicknames and you can vote on your favorite and email it back to me. I will tally the votes and we will reveal the winning name at the family reunion. The only prize will be the honor of knowing you gave the queen of nicknames hers!

Family Bunko!

Hey everyone.  If you haven't heard family bunko is at my house this weekend on Sat.  I am going to go grocery shopping on Tuesday and need to know how many people I am buying food for.  Could you all let me know if you are planning on coming so I know how many to feed.  It is going to be really fun with lots of yummy food so you should try to make it!  Thanks Holly.
