I'm sure everyone knows by now, but we picked Cade up from the St. George airport on Wednesday, August 27th. WOW!! Did he look great! There were about 4 missionaries on the same plane. There was a larger, stockier one with a cowboy hat that got off before Cade and several people in our group thought it was Cade. No, it wasn't him. He was the thinner one.
We came home and ate dinner at my house. All my children and Trevor and Noah stayed here that night. It was good to have them all here. The next day, we went to the temple with Erin. Then, lunch with everybody, including Grandpa and Kathleen at Chuck-a-rama.
On Sunday we had Cade's homecoming at the Oak City First Ward. He gave a great mission report. Then we had lunch at the town hall across the street.
Yes, Gabe, it's the same place where the lady asked if you were "newcomers". Gabe should understand that inside joke. . . . along with a few other people.
On Monday, Cade headed up to Logan to start school on Tuesday.
It was a very busy weekend, and I'm thinking Cade is still trying to recover from the whirlwind of the past week.
I love you, Cade. It's so good to have you home!!
