Family Reunion

Hello All! Sorry it has taken so long to get back to everyone in regards to the family reunion this year! Last we spoke, I thought we wanted to do it the weekend after Granpa's birthday, which I believe would make it the weekend of June 20th. That is the weekend I have told Scott's grandparents, but we can change it if we need to.
For those of you who don't know, we talked about having a reunion this year in Bear Lake. Scott's family has some property just outside of Laketown right on the beach. I hesitate to call them houses because truly, they are double wide trailers. We have two of them that we can use. Between the two trailers there are 5 bedrooms and we tend to only use the kitchen in one of them. We are more than welcome to use both trailers but with as many of us as there are, people are definitely going to have to camp. There IS room on the property for camping as well as there is a campground about 100 yards up the road. We have a couple of canoes and a speed boat. (It's old, but it works!) We can also rent jet skis at the same place where the campground is about 100 yards up the beach. I am not sure what everyone likes to do, but there are 2 nine hole golf courses near by and one 18 hole that will be opening soon. Not sure when. I know lots of people bring motorcycles and four wheelers to the area as well. So.... it's prety much up to everyone what they want to do! Let me know what everyone thinks. We can set up a calander for meals or events or activities, etc. Can't wait to hear what everyone wants to do and hope to see everyone there!!!

Well I'm planning on coming and that is a perfect date for us. I can bring anything, but you might want to set it up by families because I will have to prepare and buy stuff there in Utah anyway. Love you.

Faeth,

Sounds great. David and I would definitely like to attend it. Please let us know more detail when you get.

Love you,

That sounds fun. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone. One idea for meals could be each family could be in charge of planning, buying and cooking one meal. Depending on how many people we are planning for and how many meals we're having it could be done. Just an idea.

It would probably work best to find out when everyone plans on arriving and departing. We have one BBQ and two of pretty much everything else. I know we always end up grilling most everything because it is just so easy. THe grocery stores there are pretty pricey so we will definitely want to set everything beforehand!
