My Coke Commercial!

Here's the link to my Coca-Cola commercial. Coke has posted the top 10 finalists for the Refreshing Filmmakers Award. We should know if we won by February 20th or so. Please watch all the commercials and let me know what you think. You click 2010 Finalists. My commercial is titled "28 Ounces Later" -- I play the zombie crawling out of the movie screen + I have a line at the end. Enjoy!!!

Gabe, I watched all of the commercials last night. They are all so good! I really enjoyed them. There are two that I didn't get so much. Yours of course was the best and your line at the end cracked me up!! I loved it. I'm pulling for you to win. Great Job!
Love, Aunt Debbie

Mmmm...poppy corn!

Erin -- it's "popping corn" -- I had to say the line so fast, maybe you didn't completely understand. Either that or your just dumb. JK. Love you.
Aunt Deb -- Glad you liked the commercials. There were a few that Mom and I didn't get either. I think ours is good because it has a complete story, beginning, middle and end. Thanks for checking it out! Love you!

I have to take Erin's side in this debate and say that I thought you were talking about "poppety corn" which I thought was awesome!!

I too watched all of the commercials, and I thought yours was the best. I heard you say popping corn. Nick asked, "Is that his real voice?" Good job, and we hope you win.

Great job Gabe!Yours was definately the best. Good luck.
Now for some reason I seem to be thirsty for a Coke !

Gabe, is that inflatable person your new girlfriend? I had to put that because of your mean popcorn comment. I, honestly, think that your video was the best. Most of them didn't make any sense and there were a few that made me uncomfortable. I don't like watching people make out. It creeps me out. The only other one that I thought was okay was the recycling one. That one was sweet, but I liked yours the best. That is really my honest opinion. Oh yeah, are you bringing your new plastic girlfriend to the family reunion? I suspect that her personality is similar to some of the girls Tyler has dated. Bwa ha ha ha! Sorry.

Okay. So what's the deal with asking if that's my real voice? I got a comment from a friend on facebook asking the same thing? Does that not sound like my voice? Is it the accent? Am I doing it horribly wrong or something? ...and yes Erin, the plastic girl is my new lover... I'm a method Actor and I'm preparing for my new role in "Lars and the Real Girl 2: Freaky Inflatable"

I think that they are asking if it is your voice because it really doesn't sound like you. I thought that your accent was great. You did a great job. Do you think that I can get a part in your movie (Lars and the Real Girl 2) too?

I haven't been able to watch yet because I don't have a sound card at home and I'm always too busy at work. I hope yours wins so I can watch it on the big screen

All of this talk about "Lars and the Real Girl 2" leads me to comment: "What the heck? about Lars and the Real Girl 1?" I watched that movie one day because I had nothing else to do, and it was so strange and made me uncomfortable, but, like driving past a car wreck. . . I couldn't look away.

Little Bee... right? I thought the overall ending of the story and how the whole community came together to help him through his sadness, was sweet. But what a strange premise for a film. Also, I was kind of creeped out a bit by the sister-in-law, she was obsessed with him. It's almost as if she loved him more then her own husband or something. We'll see if we can't make it less creepy in my version, the one with me dressed as a zombie and walking around with an inflatable background extra.

Debra Morris said...

Yes, Gabe, I thought the sister-in-law was weird and I did like how the whole town came together, but beyond that, it was just plain nuts. I don't like artsy-fartsy movies (I don't know if that was one, or not). I like my movies to be straight-up easy to understand, feel good type experiences. I kept expecting the inflatable doll to come to life at some point. Is that what we were supposed to be expecting? Anyway, yes, I think your version will be waaaayyyy less creepy! You're so funny! I miss you. I want to get together again soon with you and Sarah and Erin all in the same room. You guys make me laugh!! Love you. And yes, Aunt Debbie is Little Bee. When I set my account up I thought we were supposed to have cutesy screen names, so I used my "Little Bee" moniker. Now, I don't know how to change it.

k so I finally got to watch the commercials. I thought they were all pretty good. Gabe's was the best, most original. My next favorite was the Message in a bottle. When will the winner be chosen?

Glad everyone enjoyed my commercial. We should know the results around February 20th or so! I'll keep you posted.
